Senior Software Engineer – FrontendResponsibilities include:– Building web educational content software, for teachers and students using Django and Angular/React– Translating UI/UX design wireframes to code that produce visual elements of the platform.– Develop shared web components/services/directives through collaboration with other development teams– Develop unit tests to maintain high code qualityRequirements:– 3+ Years of experience as a front-end developer.– Must know his way around with Angular 2+ in frontend development (~2yrs experience)– Deep knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3– Experience integrating with server-side APIs– CS degree with top grades and/or top abilities– Experience as Teach Lead / Team Lead is a plus– Experience using JIRA to manage development tasks – Advantage– Experience with source control management systems, preferably Git– Cloud hosting, AWS preferred – Advantage– CI/CD tools (Jenkins preferred) – Advantage– Experienced with containerized applications such as ECS, Kubernetes, Docker – Advantage– Team player with a ‘can-do’ attitude– Must be fluent in spoken and written English– Self-learner– Tackle tough problems and find creative ways to solve them.– Passion for quality
