Both positions will involve maintaining and optimizing our managed services with a focus on Linux/Unix, scripting, SQL, and ITIL processes.Key Responsibilities:Provide expert-level support for Linux/Unix-based systems, ensuring high availability and performance.Develop and maintain scripts for automating routine tasks and system monitoring.Manage and optimize SQL databases, ensuring data integrity and availability.Implement ITIL best practices for incident, problem, and change management.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex technical issues.Monitor and manage the health and performance of managed services infrastructure.Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in the managed services domain.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.3 to 4 years of experience in a Managed Services Engineer role.Strong expertise in Linux/Unix environments.Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python).Experience in SQL database management.Familiarity with ITIL framework and best practices.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Additional Qualifications for Managed Services Lead Engineer:Demonstrated leadership skills with prior experience in a leadership role.Ability to lead and mentor a team of Managed Services Engineers.Strong organizational and project management skills.Proven ability to implement and enforce ITIL best practices.
